2CV Journey around the world of Jorge Sierra
This is the story of Jorge who along with three friends intended to travel around the world in their Citroen 2CV of the early '80s.
This mad idea started when a good friend from college, Miguel of Castile, sent a book he was reading at that time to Jorge: "La Terre en rond."
The book recounts the adventures of two young Frenchmen (Baudot and Seguela) who in the 50's toured the world in a 2cv.
Jorge and his friends like the book and decided to imitate them.
So two years before the 50th anniversary of this first 2CV trip, Jorge started getting ready ...
And finally they set off in September 2008, trying to follow the same route as the French adventurers in reverse: first Europe, Asia, North and South America and finally Africa.
This was submitted in June 2010, nearly two years since they left, and was submitted from Malaysia.
